Speaker 1:

Hi everyone. It's Laura London and I just finished filming a lower body leg workout, legs and abs of steel, came back to my computer to upload the video and there was a comment on one of my Facebook pages from a woman who says you know, laura, I am pear-shaped, I've been working out, I've been walking, I've been eating the best I can. How long before I see results? And you know what? I just want to talk to you guys about starting stopping, starting stopping, starting stopping, because this is what I find is one of the biggest, biggest things that people do, men and women. They start an exercise program, they do about two, three weeks and they're like this isn't working. I'm going to go find the next thing, the next workout, the next supplement, and they never just keep going and continue to get far enough.

Speaker 1:

So my answer to this lovely lady was consistency is the key. You know, give yourself a good 30 days to stick with one thing that you're doing, if you're changing your eating, if you're exercising. I always say write it down, write down what you're eating so you're accountable. Don't give me one day of writing it down, you know, and then not doing it. Everybody needs to start following through with what you're accountable. Don't give me one day of writing it down, you know, and then not doing it. Everybody needs to start following through with what you're doing.

Speaker 1:

So again, in 30 days, this is what's going to happen. Your body is going to start to get stronger from the inside out, so you might not be seeing anything. And this is when people, after two or three weeks, are like be seeing anything. And this is when people, after two or three weeks, are like I'm not seeing anything. The scale's not changing. It's time to move on. Well, no, there are changes going on in your body that you can't see. So, okay, first we're getting stronger on the inside out, then our body starts to change a little. Maybe we feel our clothes getting a little bit looser. You know, you kind of, like I say, do the feel method, feel what's going on in your body. Gee, my hips feel a little tighter, my legs, my arms? That's the next thing that's going to happen. And then, guess what happens? You start losing weight and your body starts changing shape, but only if you stick to what you're doing.

Speaker 1:

And it's not rocket science, people, I don't know how else to get this through to you guys. It's eating consistently throughout the day, unpackaged, unprocessed foods, Adding a green drink, taking some very good supplements that are not full of artificial chemicals, sweeteners and we won't even go there right now and being consistent with your workouts and writing it down, for at least the first two weeks, what you're eating, the first two weeks, what you're eating. So are you ready to stop starting and stopping and starting and stopping? It took me two 90 day challenges to get my, you know, to go from a grumpy mom to really fit and fabulous mom.

Speaker 1:

But you know what I did. I wrote every single thing down. I knew what I was going to do at the gym, I knew what I was going to eat. I planned it out in my head, I wrote it down in my journal. I'm telling you guys, if I can do it, you can do it, but you need to be consistent. All right, that's all for now. I just have to get that out there off of my chest. So go, let me know how you're doing. Okay, love you guys. Bye, and you know I have no idea how to turn this thing off, thank you.
